In their recent article, Thielmann and colleagues1
concluded that previous percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with diabetes and triple-vessel disease is an independent predictor of death and major adverse cardiac events for patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
