We thank Lentini and colleagues for their interest in our recent article "Intraoperative coronary angiography in the management of patients with acute aortic dissection and endocarditis."1
The 2 important issues highlighted by the authors in their Letter to the Editor reinforce important concepts from our article. The first issue is the level of emergency of aortic endocarditis.
