Dr David A. Fullerton (Denver, Colo). Dr Wolf, I congratulate you on both a phenomenal presentation and a really superb article. For those in the audience who do not think about this on a daily basis, I would like to point out a couple of things. Number one, there is a tremendous amount of important information in your study. Number two, the techniques and the model that you have used are quite sophisticated, so I think you are to be congratulated again on that point.

I learned a couple of things from your study. One is that it is possible to—well, let me back up and say what I learned is that MAP kinases are not uniformly distributed among different tissues, and so I found one of the novel findings in your study to be the dissociation of P38 and JNK from ERK1/2 in one organ. Of course, as you highlighted, P38 and JNK are found in the macrophages, whereas ERK1/2 are found in the endothelial and epithelial cells.
