Notice of Correction

In the January 2005 issue of the Journal, in the article by Park and associates titled "Left Ventricular Assist Devices as Destination Therapy: A New Look at Survival" (2005;129;9–17), several errors were made. On page 9, the affiliations for Annetine Gelijns, PhD, Alan Moskowitz, MD, and Eric Rose, MD, should be changed from "University of Alabama at Birmingham" to "Columbia University, New York." On page 11, paragraph 2, final sentence, "13% (95% CL, 2%–17%)" should be changed to "9% (95% CL, 1%–16%)." On page 12, paragraph 2, third sentence, "29% (95% CL, 19%–40%) and 9% (95% CL, 0%–16%)" should be changed to "19% (95% CL, 4%–34%) and 9% (95% CL, 0%–18%)."
